Volunteer Opportunities

You have chosen The Vanguard School to be your school of choice. Now - what are some ways that you can volunteer?

Please feel free to contact your child's teacher if you would like to volunteer to help with one or more of the items listed below. Perhaps, there is something not mentioned that you would like to do.

Remember that this is your Vanguard School! Let's all pitch in and make it the best!!

Elementary Art Assistant

Be a classroom parent.

Help with lunch duty for your child's class.

Chaperone a field trip.

Help put up a bulletin board in a classroom or hallway.

Tutor students in grades 7-12 during Friday Study Halls

Use your professional skills to help the school (i.e. locksmith, carpet cleaner, nurse, accountant, plumber, electrician, drywaller, accountant, or attorney).

Mow the lawn, trim shrubs and bushes.

Support the PTO in their fundraisers and other projects. Visit the PTO Page for more information.
Be a substitute for an aide or teacher (this is a paid position). Contact Shaleen Prehm, Human Resources
