The PTO uses a variety of mediums to communicate with families:
- Web and CMCA PTO Facebook page
- Monthly newsletters sent home in Friday folders (Grades K-6)
- PTO E-Mail blasts for recurring needs throughout the year
- PTO Meetings (2nd Tuesday of each month) (unless otherwise indicated)
PTO meetings are normally scheduled alternatively on the second Tuesday of each month either at 3:30 PM at the Corona Campus' "The Box" (located adjacent to the school gymnasium), or at 1:30 PM at Schlotsky's Deli (1869 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs). Check the PTO calendar below for specific locations. Children are welcome to come and can play at the school's playground during meetings at "The Box."

Holiday Gift Shop

Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dances

Original Art Works

Class Parent

Uniform Resale

Box Tops for Education

Scholastic Books

Requesting Funding from PTO
Staff and Administration at CMCA/Vanguard School may submit requests to the PTO in two ways:
1. Using the PTO Request Form. Each item will be voted on by PTO board members and qualifying parents that regularly attend PTO meetings.
2. Submitting requests to the School's "Wish List." These requests will be routinely reviewed during the year to assess the PTO's ability to fund these types of purchases. See Janet Dinnen for more information.
