Girls State (Updated: February 26, 2018)New!
Junior girls interested in developing leadership skills, confidence, and getting an action-based understanding of the governmental process can attend Girls State by applying online here.  Girls State is one of the oldest and most respected experiential learning programs in the United States, and alumni include members of presidential cabinets, mayors, governors, state representatives, U.S. senators, and nationally known journalists.  There is no cost to attend Girls State, and the due date for applications is April 1, 2018.  Additional questions can be directed to Jill Custer or Avery McGlenn.

Scholarship Opportunities (Updated: February 26, 2018)
STEM Grant
The Denver Foundation announces that applications for the RBC Wealth Management Colorado Scholarship are now available. This is a highly selective scholarship for Colorado students planning to pursue STEM-related degrees. For application information, click here.
Alpha Delta ScholarshipNew!
Every year, Alpha Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter of Colorado Springs awards a $1,500 scholarship to a  deserving recipient.  Specifically for senior girls, this scholarship is awarded to young ladies interested in pursing a career in education.  The application deadline is April 15, 2018.  Click here to learn more.

Summer Programs and Leadership Opportunities (Posted: February 26, 2018)
Summer is the perfect time for students to participate in a variety of enrichment programs.  In addition to this site that has compiled various programs and opportunities for high school students, the following schools and programs are also available for students to explore:
  •  UCHealth Junior Medical School ProgramNew!
    Current juniors and seniors interested in pursuing careers in healthcare can participate in the popular UCHealth Junior Medical School Program. More information about this unique opportunity can be found here. Four sessions will be offered, and the first deadline is April 27, 2018.
  • Cornell University Summer College
    Accepted students will be able to experience college life, take Cornell courses, earn three to six college credits, explore careers and academic majors, and prep for college applications. Click here for more information.
  • Notre Dame Pre-College Programs
    Applications for the 2018 Notre Dame Pre-College Programs are now live! Click here for more information.
  • West Point Summer Leadership Experience
    West Point's Summer Leadership Experience (SLE) is a week-long program of academic classes, military training, physical fitness training, and intramural athletics. This program gives students the opportunity to experience cadet life and to see first-hand what West Point has to offer. For more information about this opportunity, click here.
  • U.S. Naval Academy Summer Seminar
