Forensics Club JR High

Learn The Art of Speech & Debate

Jr High School Speech & Debate

Forensics is an elective for students who love the arts of oratory and persuasion (speech and debate). Forensics is an offers important life skills that are often neglected due to fear or lack of training.  Students who take forensics come out of the elective with more confidence and an increased ability to effectively communicate their thoughts and ideas to others.

Instructor Information:

Mrs. Kristina Thompson, 7th grade English and junior high forensics coach since 2014. Ms. Thompson has participated in drama productions since elementary school as an actress, a backstage crew member, a musical ensemble member, and a co-director. She loves the stage because it allows people first to intimately understand the perspective of people who are different than themselves and secondly to develop a deep level of confidence in order to portray that new found awareness.
