At CMCA, we believe that the opportunity for participation in a variety of athletic and activities programs is a vital part of a student’s educational experiences. Such participation is a privilege that carries with it responsibilities to the school, the activity, other students, and the athletes themselves. The CMCA athletic and activities programs, a supplement to the school’s academically rigorous curriculum, strives to provide experiences that will help students develop physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. Our coaches support The Vanguard School’s commitment to character education. Coaches will capitalize on teaching moments and integrate character education through their example and verbal reinforcements.
The Vanguard School has been a CHSAA (Colorado High School Activities Association) member since January 2008. We are a Class 2A school, competing in the Black Forest League (BFL).
Click on the 'Team Pages" tab above to view all off the sports being offered across the various grades (5-12). Scheduled athletics events will be published on our
Athletics-Activities Calendar as they become available for each sports team, including game/meet dates, opponents, times and transportation information.
"Home" sporting events take place at either the Corona Campus (for Grades 7-12) or Wahsatch Campus (for Grades 5-6).

building school spirit and pride. Now is the time to step up and put your support behind our student athletes!
Family passes are available at all "Home" athletics events at the Vanguard School gymnasium, including Volleyball and Basketball games. Admission charges only apply for indoor sports; outdoor sports are free to attend. The cost for a family pass is $65.00 for the entire year. It will get you into all HOME contests for Volleyball and Basketball. The family pass will cover everyone who lives in your immediate household.

Family passes save $$$ !!! The potential savings of a family pass versus paying Black Forest League admission prices could be several hundred dollars! But the best reason to buy is because the proceeds
directly benefit OUR students by generating funds for our Athletic program!!
