New Entry Procedures - UPDATE!

School Security - New Entry ProceduresBeginning this Fall, every visitor will be required to sign in and present identification at our building front desks. Parents with Vanguard ID's (provided at Mandatory Show Days) can show this card. Upon your first visit, you will be provided a lanyard so that you can display your Vanguard ID card while in our facilities. Parents without a Vanguard ID will need to provide a government-issued identification, which will be held at our front desks during your visit. A visitor badge will be provided and must be worn/displayed while you are in the building. All visitors must sign out before exiting. 
 
After the first week of school, parents and guardians who do not have an ID badge yet can stop by any of our four front offices to have their picture taken for a badge. 

Effective Monday, August 21, 2017, families should adhere to the following procedures:
  • Grades K-3: Sign-in/sign-out is suspended during drop-off and pick-up times. At all other times during the day, visitors without Vanguard Parent IDs will be required to leave a form of identification at the front desk and will retrieve it upon departure.
  • Grades 4-6: Sign-in/sign-out is suspended during drop-off and pick-up times, but it will be required at all other times during the day. Identification will be required at all times. Visitors without Vanguard Parent IDs will be required to leave a form of identification at the front desk and will retrieve it upon departure.
  • Junior High and High School: No change. All visitors are required to provide identification and sign-in/sign-out at all hours of the day. Visitors without Vanguard Parent IDs will be required to leave a form of identification at the front desk and will retrieve it upon departure.
