  • Students’ Iowa Tests of Basic Skills scores from 1999-2006 have placed CMCA in the 99th percentile (top 1%) of the nation academically.
  • Rated as an “Excellent School” by the Colorado Department of Education every year since the School Accountability Report’s inception in 2003.

  • The Vanguard School scored the top score in the state of Colorado in six of the seven tests taken in 2008-2009 and 2009-2010.
  • The Gazette named Vanguard best school in “Best of Springs” 2008.
  • In 2008-2009 and 2009-2010, The Vanguard School students had the highest ACT composite score in Colorado.
  • The first year of AP English testing (2008-2009), eight of the eleven students scored a 5, and three of the eleven students scored a 4.
  • The first graduating class of seniors (2010) from The Vanguard School includes a Boettcher Scholarship winner, a National Merit finalist, and a National Achievement Scholarship winner.
